Gabrielle Hibbert is an interdisciplinary tech policy researcher who focuses on data privacy, ethics, and emerging technologies to create research that strives to add value to equitable technological development. In 2024, she was named a New America #stmic Fellow, where she currently works on transparency and explainability as it pertains to data policy. She is also an advisor and adjunct at Brandeis University's Racial Justice Tech Policy Institute. Her work has appeared in the Diplomatic Courier, Bipartisan Policy Center, and Kapor Center.

  • a white paper dedicated to 9 areas of tech policy that led to the kapor center earning a 5+ million dollar grant.

alternative notions of dissent: soviet punk in east germany & siberia

  • a comparative and linguistic study of siberia's 'grazdhanskaya oborona' and east germany's 'zwitschermaschine;' analyzing decentralized information networks, misinformation, and social policy.
